Steve Nash Diet Challenge: Day 1

Yesterday was Day 1 of the Nash Diet Challenge and I'll say that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Yes, I can't eat some junk food and drink certain drinks but the substitutes I have aren't half bad. When I ate breakfast I had only one serving which is one cup of Rice Chex Gluten Free cerel with a half a cup of Almond milk. I didn't think I was going to like it but I loved it. Right there I realized I didn't need Coco Puffs or Trix in the future because this cereal was delicious.

I continued by staying busy because for me when I'm bored I'll get hungry, so I went to the gym and hung out with friends. It made time fly by and then it was lunch time. For lunch I had a grilled chicken spinach salad with a couple olives and lite Ceaser dressing, water, and fruit afterwards. That was alright but not as filling as I wanted it to be. So about a hour later I had a fiber bar for a snack.

A couple hours later, Dinner time! I enjoyed a grilled chicken with a side of veggies and a tall glass of water. For dessert I enjoyed a nice bowl of pinapples. It was so good. I wanted to eat even more but I held myself back and was satisfied with what I had.

I kept thinking "Why did I eat all that junk food before?" That thought is what defnitely helped me get through Day 1. It's just day one of the Nash Diet Challenge, more updates to come!
