Hello all!
Today is Day 6 of the Nash Diet Challenge! I just wanted to give you all a little update of how my week has been since it is almost over.
It has been challenging especially being back home for Spring Break. I have to turn down almost all of my favorite foods and all the junk foods that people offer me. Even though I have to turn down the temptations and can't enjoy my favorites, I actually am enjoying what I have been eating for the past six days. Lots of fiber, fruits, baked chicken/fish, almond milk, brown rice, etc. It's not bad but I can't lie, here and there I would like something different.
Today for Breakfast I had a bowl of Gluten Free Rice Chex cerealm, Almond milk, a side of fruit, and water. Then for Lunch I enjoyed a salad with grilled chicken, nuts, and some dried fruit. It was all so delicious. Not sure what I'm having tonight for dinner but I'll figure it out.
As well doing the diet I have been going to the gym everyday. I have so much more energy when I'm there, it must be all the new food I have going through my body. Crazy thing is that I've lost 4 pounds since being on this diet, crazy!
Well I have one more to go and I'm not worried at all. Steve Nash would be proud :-)
