Life of a College Student!

I understand some of you asked me "where are the blog post?!"... Sorry for the lack of updates or none in the past few days. I've just been swarmed with projects, papers, and other assignments this week! Oh the life of a college student.... For the next week and a half I'll barely be posting because of school and plus finals are a week away. I got to study hard and finish off the semester strong! Duh. I will be back soon with lots of stories, photos, and updates!

Yesterday the 'I AM MUSIC' tour mad a stop in Phoenix and during Nicki Minaj's performance she brought up 2-time NBA MVP Steve Nash for a nice little lap dance.

I had read yesterday on Steve Nash's twitter that he did recieve a lap dance from her and I couldn't wait to see his reaction in video. Priceless. Pretty Funny. I mean what guy wouldn't enjoy that?

Pure Talent..

How terrific is Adele? It blows my mind away how talented she is! Her voice is hands down one of the best. The video above was Adele LIVE on Letterman.. let me say that again LIVE.. How many artist these days can sounds that great when performing live?.. I can probably only count them all on my hands.

To go to one of her concerts is on my MUST-do list. Amazing.

You are ones Best Friends after a long day at school, a long night w/ no sleep, when catching up with sleep, after a filling meal, and the list goes on! I love you, I really really do. BUT(yes there always has to be a but in the story) I truly dislike you when it gets late at night and I have to get up early in the morning and you have me up with the extra energy you gave me earlier in the day. Please don't let this ruin our relationship because I really do appreciate everything you do.I love you flaws and all but tonight, last night, and the night before last, you have messed up my sleep schedule.

Kanye West Performs at Coachella 2011

Last night Kanye West took the stage at Coachella 2011. The performance was EPIC! He gave the crowd and viewers a energy filled night of greatness! It was brilliant! 'Ye performed songs from College Dropout all the way to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. He gave the crowd is heart and sould on the coachella stage, you could seriously feel it while watching.
This Coachella performance had to be one of Kanye West BEST! If fans weren't able to attend Coachella, YouTube was there to save the day! Which I and many others took advantage of. So if you missed out on the Epic night, don't worry the video above is the 2hr concert. Be ready to be blown away.

Tonight Kanye West performed at Coachella  and it was absolutely amazing! Yes, I have watched and enjoyed it from my dorm room on YouTube Live, but it didn't matter! It was still EPIC! Kanye killed it. Hands Down. He had the crowd and viewers going crazy. It was filled with all his songs and hits from College Dropout all the way to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy! It was great! If you didn't catch him performing, you sure did miss out!

I'm Obsessed with Stripes...

(yeah laugh all you want at ^ photo. I effing hate clowns lol)

The other day I was going through my photos on my computer and I couldn't help to notice that almost have of them I’m in freakin' STRIPES! haa! It pretty ridic how many stripe shirts I have. Above is about half of my photos. After that day realizing that I had a problem, you want to know what I did? I don't want to admit it, but I must! I was at the store and purchased..... a stripe sweater! I couldn't help it! I was standing there and I noticed it noticing me noticing it.. it was love at first sight... Then I thought of that Spongebob Stripe Sweater song and I started singing it in my head "The best time to wear a stripe sweater is all the tiiiiime!" And that was it, I bought it.

I can't believe I let it get this far. These past couple of months I've been just buying any stripe shirt I see. So here it is, I'm going to say it: "I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANY MORE STRIPE SHIRTS" If you see me at the store getting even close to one, STOP ME! Thanks. Hey I'll def still rock stripes but I'll tone it down.. A intervention is highly needed if it gets any worse.

Alicia Keys 10th Anniversary Edition "songs in A minor" Album!

I am going crazy with excitement!!!! My favorite artist of all time, the beautiful Alicia Keys is releasing the 10th Anniversary Edition of "songs of A minor" Album! That is one of my favorite albums from her. Absolutely ahhhmazing! I can't wait till June to get it!

On her website she said:

June 28th, 2011 will mark the 10 year anniversary of Alicia's debut album, "songs in A Minor!" To celebrate, Alicia and J Records will be releasing Deluxe and Collector’s editions of the album. The original release of songs in A minor sold more than 12 million albums worldwide and garnered Keys with her first five, of 14 total, Grammy® Awards including Best New Artist, Best Song of the Year for “Fallin,” and Best R&B Album. With the 10th Anniversary Editions, Keys’ fans will be able to rediscover this seminal album and explore previously unreleased and original bonus material, such as the tracks “A Woman’s Worth” remix featuring Nas; “Juiciest” mix tape version; “Fallin” the Ali soundtrack version; and the previously unreleased “Typewriter,” “If I Was Your Woman” Original Funky Demo version and "Butterflyz (The Drumline Mix)."

The Deluxe Edition two-disc set and Collector’s Edition three-disc set will feature very special packaging and an enhanced booklet featuring new liner notes from Keys. The Collector’s Edition will also include a documentary, specifically created for this release with brand new interviews with Keys and other album collaborators, reflecting on the making of songs in A minor. For the first time, a vinyl version of the original album will also be made available.


“It’s incredibly surreal for me to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of songs in A minor,” says Keys. “Looking back on the journey, I’m truly moved by my fans and friends who’ve been with me and have supported me throughout my career. This album is possibly the most precious to me, as your first album only happens once, and so songs in A minor will always hold a special place in my life that’s filled with amazing memories. I’m so proud that the songs are still being enjoyed around the world, and I’m crazy excited to share, through the 10th Anniversary Edition, songs never heard before, and even more of my debut album with you.” Keys will commemorate the 10th Anniversary by performing an intimate concert for her fans at New York City’s historic Beacon Theatre on June 30th. The show, titled “Piano & I: A One Night Only Event With Alicia Keys,” will feature Keys accompanied only by her piano. The night of songs and storytelling will take audiences through the entire songs in A minor album as well as many of Alicia’s classic hits that followed. Tickets for the show will go on sale on May 6th via Ticket Master.

Keys will also perform on the BET Awards on June 26th and an hour-long special on Alicia and songs in A minor will air on the network in late June around the album release.
